Thanks to a very generous bequest from one of our most active members who recently passed away, Terry D Zmrbal, the SCW Woodworkers Club following his wishes was able to renovate our old library and turn it into a modern library and Computer room. True to the nature of a woodworking club the bulk of the renovation was done by volunteer members.
The club now has six full computer internet stations that members can use to create Vectric VCarve Pro software and use on the clubs CNC machines, sign-ups for classes, research projects and many other online uses. The library is ideal for classes and demonstrations using the seventh computer station at the far end of the room which has a large screen for instructors use. Terry was very dedicated to the club and a driving force in establishing our CNC program teaching classes and running the system of two CNC machines plus other endeavors.
