#62 Band Saw is designed specifically to Re-Saw dried lumber. Note the fence to ensure an accurate and straight cut. Also, the larger height that can be cut.
#73 Large Blade Saw is only for cutting wet or green wood such as logs. Note the V shaped jig to secure the log. When working with wet or green wood the bade needs to be cleaned after each use. Cleaning Blades
NOTE: Band Saws #62 and # 73 have foot pedal blade brakes. The others do not and will spin for a longer time.
