Wooden toy and games are a natural here at the shop. Remember, there are a lot of grand parents that are shop members. Members make all sorts of toys. They include board games, building blocks & stacking toys, cars & trains, doll’s houses & accessories, keepsake toys, model & craft kits, musical toys, play scenes & sets, push & pull along toys, puzzles, ride on & rocking toys, skittles, spinning toys and more.
In addition, each year around Christmas time there is a shop wide project by volunteers to make dozens of wood toy that are given to children from near by schools. The Christmas toy program is a big event that many members help out with and make wooden toys for children. Toys are made in the fall in preparation for an event where children from local schools come to the shop, greet the toy elves, have a snack and get the toys.
