Boston is my home. I came to Arizona first by train when i was 7 years old. Mom and I had out to help my oldest brother who came here for his recovery from polio. There were a few other times we came back over the years and after my time in the Marine Corps I was a good looking young hippie and considered Phoenix my second home. I went to college here on the seldom mentioned 5-1/2 year, 2 year associates degree program. Now i am back here again since the 1990’s and have to live here because we can’t afford to live in Boston anymore. I joined the wood workers club to get out of the house mostly and rekindle what little wood turning experience i picked up years ago. Then my wife found out that women could join, and the rest, as they say is hysterical. |
